This year, 11 homes have been chosen, each showcasing the innovation and work of 11 different Austin area architects. The houses are chosen to demonstrate the value of architects in the area and allow each architecture firm to gain recognition for the hard work they’ve done for home and business owners.

Tickets to the 2014 AIA Austin Homes Tour is available in advance for $35, or $40 if purchased during the Tour weekend. Individual home tours are $10 per home. During the tours, guests are asked to remove shoes in all homes and respect the privacy of homeowners by avoiding going into rooms or closets that have been blocked off and keeping from opening and cabinets or refrigerators. Cameras and photographs are not allowed in any of the homes, and no food or drink is allowed in homes, to keep them clean through the whole weekend.
